Hialeah Gardens Commerce Center / DFH4 Last Mile Facility
Miller’s preconstruction team was vital in planning the strategic design of the 103,000-square-foot warehouse as a portion of the site was located on wetland areas. Miller obtained special permits to remove and relocate muck from building pad areas, per an approved Soil Management Plan. Coordinating that work with specialty inspectors was critical to the project’s efficient launch. The compete tilt-wall shell structure is equipped with 32-foot clear-height ceilings and 24 support columns. Miller included nine delivery docks on the east side and six overhead loading doors with a covered canopy on the south side, ideal for sorting shipments to and from the facility. Miller finalized the warehouse buildout with a two-story, 14,000-square-foot office featuring breakrooms, restrooms, training facility and intake screening area.
