Fisher Island Day School

Working around ongoing operations, the project team completed a two-story addition to expand classroom, library and office space, and installed new landscaping. Miller’s crews constructed the addition using augercast piles and grade beams, concrete block and wood trusses. Since access to the island is only by barge or ferry, scheduling crews and staging materials were precisely coordinated to keep the project’s compressed timing on track.
