Miller Construction Company has launched the $20.8 million build of Sereno at Bay Harbor Islands. The upscale condominium community on one of Bay Harbor Islands’ few developable waterfront sites will provide panoramic views of Florida Bay, Bal Harbor and the ocean.

For co-developers Integra Investments and 13th Floor Investments, Miller is creating the nine-story, post-tensioned concrete tower with 38 residences, elaborate rooftop amenities, plus ground-level Bay Club with dockage, viewing deck, lounge and private boat slips. Completion is scheduled for 4th Quarter 2016.

Designed to take full advantage of its exceptional waterfront location within an established residential neighborhood, Sereno draws on Miller Construction Company’s proven expertise in tackling challenges on busy infill properties. “Going vertical on this tight site, our staging, scheduling and protocols will ensure we don’t disrupt our neighbors on either side, the waterfront or existing overhead power lines near the street,” said Miller Sr. Vice President Brian Sudduth.

Partnering with private developers from a project’s early conceptual stage, Miller Construction Company is a proven resource for innovative solutions for such redevelopment challenges. Recent examples include construction of the Fort Lauderdale BMW/MINI Service Center for Holman Automotive and the 84,000-square-foot Gateway Plaza at Doral.

Designed by Corwill Architects of Coral Gables, with interiors by Steven G, Sereno at Bay Harbor Islands will feature sleek design, expanses of glass and extensive landscaping. The rooftop amenity area’s complex plan includes a pool, outdoor theater with surround sound, outdoor dining area, cabanas, lounge with fire pit, bar and barbeque areas. Residences will range from 1,000 to more than 3,000 square feet, with private elevator access for select units.
