Pickettville Industrial

The industrial structure features 58 dock doors elevated four feet above the ground, each measuring nine by ten feet. The project also encompasses two drive-in ramp doors. Situated on the west side of I-295, just north of I-10, the massive construction boasts a ceiling height of 36 feet and columns spaced 54 feet by 48 feet apart. Miller’s preconstruction team successfully addressed the challenge of building on clay soil, which often results in design modifications and poses difficulties for construction crews during adverse weather conditions. The company engaged experienced soil-testing firms and local contractors familiar with these conditions to ensure a secure and safe building process.
