Rick Case Honda Showroom Renovation

The Rick Case Honda Renovation project involved upgrading a 13,000-square-foot showroom with a new façade and exterior canopy to achieve a modern aesthetic. The renovation also included improvements to the service drive, parts area, pre-owned sales offices, and the addition of two new car displays at the front of the building.

The project faced several significant challenges, including a delayed permit, structural design issues with the canopy foundation, and managing procurement lead times. The original design required phased pours for the foundation, but a revised design allowed all foundations to be formed and poured simultaneously, marking a significant milestone in the construction process.

Despite these obstacles, the project was completed on time due to the collaborative efforts of the design team, Owner’s representatives, third-party consultants, inspectors, trusted subcontractors, and the Building Official and staff.
