Seagis Port Everglades
Miller’s team was brought in at the onset to assess the land and soil conditions of the site and recommended the need to increase the bearing capacity of the structure. Crews installed Controlled Modulus Columns, also known as rigid inclusions, to support the 199,643-square-foot warehouse project set to serve Port Everglades and the surrounding area. Miller equipped the structure with standard 54-foot by 50-foot bays, a 60-foot speed bay and 36-foot clear-height ceilings. The project also includes two speculative office spaces to be built out at the same time as the warehouse to allow tenants to move in and occupy the space immediately upon completion of the project.
