Ankit Patel Since 2015
Ankit Patel is Director of Preconstruction and leads the preconstruction team from initial budgets through final estimates. He is a great team leader in developing the most desirable preconstruction teams for clients to communicate with them and their design teams to set projects up for successful construction. He collaborates with operations teams to develop internal processes to streamline the execution of projects and motivates teams to continuously improve and work with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Ankit received his bachelor’s degree in Architecture in India and studied construction management at the University of Florida. His unique knowledge of being able to design a project and understand exactly how it comes together in the field brings incredible value to our clients when developing estimates and making decisions in the best interest of the project. He has worked in multiple market sectors including hospitality, public schools, governmental facilities, biomedical and laboratory facilities, auto dealerships and industrial warehouses and manufacturing facilities. Ankit joined Miller in 2015 as a preconstruction manager and has grown with the team to Director of Preconstruction.
Ankit builds relationships with peers in the construction industry through Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Construction Association of South Florida (CASF). Ankit loves to read and travel with his family. For a person who claims not to enjoy driving, he has taken many road trips including from California to Florida and has driven to Canada and back. He is currently learning to play golf.
