Chris Hannaka Since 2000

Senior Vice President

Chris is a member of Miller’s Leadership Team and helps develop the best project teams while managing manpower and strong client relationships. As an example of his commitment to our clients, he became a licensed general contractor in the State of California to help one of them navigate the opportunity to develop an automotive dealership there. He is an enthusiastic mentor to many of Miller’s team members and strengthens his leadership skills through them and their successes. His objective is to help others grow their leadership and obtain the goals they set for themselves financially and in business. Chris is also integral to hiring, and safety and risk management.

Chris started at Miller in 2000 as an operations messenger after graduating from Lynn University when his father Wayne was a Miller Project Manager. Chris has served in preconstruction and operations and has been promoted several times – from Project Engineer through Project Management, Project Executive, and to his current role as Senior Vice President in 2022.

Chris is active in the Construction Association of South Florida (CASF) and as a board member of Construction Executives Association (CEA). He is a Florida native and has played sports, including college soccer, his whole life. He encouraged that in his daughter and has supported her softball team for years. Now Chris helps other female student/athletes with opportunities to play sports in college as well as achieve their degrees. He also fundraises for the American Cancer Society in the Real Men Wear Pink campaign. Chris is a devoted husband and father, loves to cook and to travel.
